Getting Started
What is BashTix?
BashTix is built for games-of-chance fundraising experiences—like raffles, drawings, and prize-based campaigns—so organizations can raise more while delivering a clean buyer experience.
Is BashTix the same as Panovents?
No. Panovents is the home for non–games-of-chance event platforms. BashTix is specifically for regulated games-of-chance fundraising experiences and is positioned separately.
Can you help me set up my fundraiser?
Yes. We can help you structure entries, pricing, timeline, and best-practice settings for a smooth launch—especially if you’re close to go-live.
What do I need before I launch?
Typically: your organization details, your campaign dates, prize details, basic rules/eligibility, and your preferred fee/payout configuration. (Compliance requirements vary by location—always confirm local requirements.)
Compliance & Eligibility
Is BashTix legal everywhere?
Rules vary widely by state and locality. BashTix provides tools and workflow support, but your organization is responsible for ensuring your fundraiser follows local laws, licensing, disclosures, and eligibility requirements.
Do you provide legal advice or licensing?
No—BashTix is not a law firm and cannot provide legal advice. We can share operational best practices and help you implement the rules you’ve chosen.
Can I restrict who can enter? (age, state, etc.)
Yes. Many campaigns restrict eligibility by age, residency, or other factors depending on rules. Configure restrictions and disclosures to match your requirements.
What should my rules include?
At minimum: eligibility, start/end dates, how winners are selected, prize descriptions, odds statement (if applicable), refund policy, and contact info. Requirements vary—confirm locally.
Entries & Buyers
How do buyers receive their entry confirmation?
Buyers receive a confirmation email with campaign details and their entry information. Exact formatting can vary by campaign setup.
Can entries be transferred to someone else?
Transferability depends on your campaign rules and settings. Some campaigns allow transfers; others restrict them to protect compliance and integrity.
What if a buyer can’t find their confirmation email?
Support can re-send confirmations or help the buyer locate their entry details. Organizers can also verify entries when needed.
Can we limit how many entries someone can buy?
Yes. If your rules require entry limits per person, you can configure purchase limits accordingly.
Drawings & Winners
How are winners selected?
Winner selection follows the method defined by your campaign’s rules (e.g., random draw). Keep your rules and process consistent and documented.
Do you support live drawings?
Yes—many organizations run live draw moments. We can help you plan a smooth “drawing night” workflow.
What happens after someone wins?
Organizers contact and verify the winner based on the rules. Prize fulfillment timing, pickup/shipping requirements, and any tax forms depend on your campaign.
What if a winner is ineligible or can’t be reached?
Your rules should define the re-draw process and timelines. Configure your campaign and follow your posted rules.
Fees & Payouts
Do you charge the same high fees as the big platforms?
No. BashTix is designed to be fair and transparent so your organization keeps more of what it raises.
Can the organization cover the fees instead of the buyer?
Yes—fee handling can be configured depending on your campaign setup and goals.
How do refunds work?
Refund rules depend on your campaign’s posted policy and settings. Because games-of-chance rules vary, ensure your refund policy aligns with your requirements.
When do payouts happen?
Payout timing depends on your processing configuration and campaign structure. If you have a specific payout schedule requirement, contact us and we’ll align the setup.
Support & Security
How do I get support?
Use the Contact page or your provided support channel. For time-sensitive campaign needs, reach out early so we can make sure you’re covered.
Is payment processing secure?
We use secure, industry-standard payment processing practices to protect buyers and organizations.
What about fraud prevention?
Campaign settings, purchase limits, and verification practices help reduce risk. If you have special requirements, tell us and we’ll recommend the best approach.
